1984 San Francisco 49ers Championship Ring

49ers 1984 Championship Ring (NFL)

Super Bowl XIX Logo

The 1984 Super Bowl ring, designed by Josten's of Minneapolis, Minnesota, to commemorate the 49ers' Super Bowl XIX victory, has an especially striking design. It features two raised images of the Vince Lombardi Trophy (representing San Francisco's two Super Bowl wins), with two large, marquis-cut diamonds replacing the footballs in the trophies. The trophy images are surrounded by a field of 33 more diamonds, and include the words "San Francisco Forty Niners World Champions." One shank features a 49ers helmet and the ring recipient's name. The other shank shows the Super Bowl XIX logo above a miniature relief of the Golden Gate Bridge, and the game score. The 10k gold ring weighs approximately 30 pennyweight.
