WWF Light Heavyweight Championship

Created in 1997, the title is not to be confused with the defunct WWF/UWA Light-Heavyweight Championship that was mainly fought over in Mexico. See 'Defunct Titles' for more information. Title was abandoned in late 2001 while X-Pac was out with an injury, and was replaced by the Cruiserweight Championship, the only title held over from the WCW invasion in 2001.
