Notes

On 06-Nov-1983, Roberts won the Georgia NWA National TV Title from Ron Garvin in Atlanta. Title later becomes known at the NWA World Television Championship. Some histories credit Hans Schmidt with being recognized back in Nov-1956, but there were no changes after that, so I have not included it.
Title held up because Roberts used a foreign instrument.
Defeated Roberts in a rematch via countout.
Date and place uncertain.
Location and date uncertain.
World Title status revoked and reduced back to national title in Mar-1985 (date shown assumed). Ron Garvin would later defeat Bob Roop on 14-Apr-1985 in Atlanta, but that would be part of the NWA National TV Title (along with other title changes before 04-Mar-1984), not presented here. That national title was abandoned in Apr-1985.
World Title status restored when Rhodes defeated Tully Blanchard for the NWA (Mid-Atlantic) TV title.
Stripped for not defending the belt due to injury sustained when Ric Flair/Ole and Arn Anderson broke his leg on 29-Sep in Atlanta.
Defeated Wahoo McDaniel in tournament final.
Title held-up after a match against the Great Muta.
Defeated Sting in rematch.
Becomes known as the WCW World Television title as of Jan-1991.
Title vacated when Steiners leave for the WWF.
Defeated Erik Watts in a tournament final.
Claims on Nitro that Booker T has allowed him to defend the title, since Booker was injured the night before at a PPV.
Wins title via forfeit. Steiner was inured.
Vacated when Kevin Nash tosses the belt in the trash.
Hacksaw finds the title in the trash. Taped on the 16-Feb, aired on 19-Feb.
Vacated by WCW execs Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo. Never revived after that.
