| Notes: The damn match was over. Bret had Shawn in the Sharpshooter with 30 seconds left. Michaels would have given up, but when time expired, Bret released the hold and started to leave. That punk Monsoon ordered a sudden death period. And with no falls going down in 60 minutes, one happens in less than two in overtime. This was the first Bret Hart screwjob, in my opinion. A fantastic match though, except for this ending. They should have started the overtime period with Michaels in the Sharpshooter to be fair. I think the funniest part of the match was when Jose Lothario got knocked on his ass and the crowd laughed theirs off. But in the end: Screw you, Michaels, and nice job dropping an F-Bomb on live PPV. | |||
