| "The Can-Am Connection" (Rick Martel & Tom Zenk) |
def. | "Magnificent" Don Muraco & "Cowboy" Bob Orton w/Mr. Fuji |

| Notes: Martel pinned Muraco. A good, solid opening match. | |||
| Match #2 | |||
| Billy Jack Haynes | DRAW | Hercules w/Bobby Heenan |
via Countout (7:52) |
| Notes: In the "Battle of the Full Nelsons," there was no clear winner as they Haynes got the full nelson on Hercules outside the ring. Haynes tried going after Heenan, but Herc used the chain and busted open Billy Jack. | |||

def. | "The Rougeau Brothers" (Raymond & Jacques Rougeau) |
via Pinfall (4:03) |

| "Rowdy" Roddy Piper | def. | "Adorable" Adrian Adonis w/Jimmy Hart |
via TKO (6:54) |
| Notes: Before the match, Piper said, "This will be absolutely my last professional match." Yeah, so much for that. Another stipulation stated that the loser would have his hair cut off.
