Sunday Night Heat Match
"The APA"
(Faarooq & Bradshaw)
def. Billy Gunn &
Chuck Palumbo
via Pinfall (3:45)
Notes: Bradshaw pinned Billy.

IN RING: Vince McMahon called out Ric Flair, but all Flair did was kick off the event by bringing out Scotty and Albert.

Match #1
Scotty 2 Hotty
& Albert
def. Christian
& Test
via Pinfall (6:19)
Notes: Albert pinned Christian. Christian was setting up Scotty for the fall when Albert came up with the Baldobomb.

Match #2 - WWF Intercontinental Championship
Edge
Champion
def. William Regal
Challenger
via Pinfall (9:07)
Notes: Another besmirchment. Regal was warming up the power of the punch (getting the brass knucks) when Edge nailed him with the spear.

Match #3
Jeff Hardy def. Matt Hardy via Pinfall (12:30)
Notes: Lita was the guest referee, and she messed it up. She didn't see Matt's foot on the rope as Jeff made the cover. In her defense, that punk Jeff swept the foot off the rope so she couldn't see it.

Match #4 - WWF World Tag Team Championship
"The Dudley Boyz"
(D-Von & Bubba Ray Dudley)
Champions
w/Stacy Keibler
def. The Big Show
& Kane

Challengers
via Pinfall (6:49)
Notes: Bubba Ray pinned Big Show after a modified 3D into an exposed turnbuckle.

Match #5 - WWF Hardcore Championship
The Undertaker
Challenger
def. Rob Van Dam
Champion
via Pinfall (11:03)
Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- RVD went for the Van Daminator up on the stage, but Undertaker saw it coming and chokeslammed RVD off the stage. 'Taker took RVD to school.

Match #6 - WWF Women's Championship
Trish Stratus
Champion
def. Jacqueline
Challenger
via Pinfall (4:35)
Notes: Trish surprised Jackie with a backslide and picked up the victory. The two were good sports and things ended with respect.

Match #7 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin
Champion
def. Kurt Angle
Challenger
via Pinfall (15:00)
Notes: Austin won the nice wrestling contest cleanly with a Stunner. Kurt tried to get the Stunner on Austin, but he should have stuck to his own maneuvers.

Match #8 - (WCW) World Heavyweight Championship
Chris Jericho
Challenger
def. The Rock
Champion
via Pinfall (19:03)
Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Rock was putting the finishing touches on a People's Elbow when Vince ran in. He wanted to get some revenge on Rock for that whole "face in Rikishi's ass" debacle, and he got it. Rock was distracted and Y2J won the former WCW Championship. Austin's music immediately hit and we are on to...

Match #9 - WWF World Heavyweight & (WCW) World Heavyweight Championships - Unification Match
Chris Jericho
World Champion
def. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
WWF Champion
via Pinfall (12:35)
Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Before the match officially began, Kurt Angle came down and hit Austin with a chair. But it all equalled out because the Rock then gave Jericho a Rock Bottom. After some regular wrestling, Hebner went down for 235,213,607,460th time in his career, and Vince came out with Nick Patrick to count down Austin. Flair, desperate to kiss up to Austin, pulled Patrick out of the ring just as he was counting. Vince chucked Flair into the security barrier, but Austin laid out Vince. As if that weren't enough, when Austin had Y2J in the Walls of Jericho, the unemployed Booker T came out of the crowd and laid out Austin with the belt. Vince tossed Hebner into the ring and Hebner collected himself enough to count Austin down. Whew!
