| Match #1 - Tournament Round 1 | |||
| Mankind | def. | Duane Gill | via Pinfall (0:29) |
| Notes: Vince McMahon, Commissioner Slaughter, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, and the Big Boss Man came out to kick things off and Vince himself introduced Mankind and Duane Gill. | |||
| Match #2 - Tournament Round 1 | |||
| Al Snow | def. | Jeff Jarrett w/Debra |
via Pinfall (3:31) |
| Notes: Snow used Head. | |||
| Match #3 - Tournament Round 1 | |||
| "Stone Cold" Steve Austin | def. | The Big Boss Man | via DQ (3:19) |
| Notes: Boss Man used his nightstick and beat the snot out of Austin. | |||
| Match #4 - Tournament Round 1 | |||
| X-Pac | DRAW | Stephen Regal | via Dbl Countout (8:09) |
| Notes: Both men were counted out at 8:09, and Commissioner Slaughter stated that a five minute sudden death period to the finish would be held. X-Pac was unable to compete, so the decision stood. | |||
| Match #5 - Tournament Round 1 | |||
| Ken Shamrock | def. | Goldust | via Submission (5:56) |
| Notes: | |||
| Match #6 - Tournament Round 1 | |||
| The Rock | def. | The Big Boss Man | via Pinfall (0:04) |
| Notes: Triple H was unable to wrestle that evening, so Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson came out (to the DX music and doing crotch chops, hilarious!) and said that the Big Boss Man was the replacement. | |||
| Match #7 - Tournament Round 2 | |||
| The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer |
def. | Kane | via Pinfall (7:15) |
| Notes: Paul Bearer jumped up on the apron to distract Kane, and this gave 'Taker an opening for the Tombstone. Paul also held Kane's leg just to make sure. Boy, it's good to see 'Taker and Paul together again. | |||
| Match #8 - Tournament Round 2 | |||
| Mankind | def. | Al Snow | via Submission (3:56) |
| Notes: Like the outcome of this match was ever in doubt. Sorry, Al, but Al Snow vs. Steve Austin just wouldn't be worth (expletive). Anyway, Mankind found Mr. Socko wrapped around Head, and used him to finish off Snow. | |||
| Match #9 - Tournament Round 2 | |||
| The Rock | def. | Ken Shamrock | via Pinfall (8:20) |
| Notes: Boss Man tried to toss his nightstick to Shamrock, but Rock intercepted it and used it to win. | |||
| Match #10 - WWF Women's Championship | |||
| Sable Challenger |
def. | Jacqueline Champion w/Marc Mero |
via Pinfall (3:13) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Jackie has skills in the ring, but to be honest, Sable is not an accomplished grappler. At least not in the ring. But I guess they had to put the title on her so all the little fanboys with hormones running wild could be so proud of a woman they have absolutely no shot with. | |||
| Match #11 - Tournament Round 3 | |||
| Mankind | def. | "Stone Cold" Steve Austin | via Pinfall (10:26) |
| Notes: This match had one of the coolest finishes ever. McMahon and Co. came down to ringside. When ref Chioda was about to count Mankind down, McMahon lept up out of his wheelchair and pulled him out of the ring. Slaughter and Vince took out Chioda while the match went on. Austin made another cover after another Stunner, and Shane came down to the ring. One, two...double middle fingers! Shane was really on Vince's side the whole time. Mankind got the pin and Vince's entire entourage drove off in a limo. Austin committed grand theft auto and drove after them. | |||
| Match #12 - Tournament Round 3 | |||
| The Rock | def. | The Undertaker w/Paul Bearer |
via DQ (8:23) |
| Notes: Kane chokeslammed the Rock to eliminate his brother from competition. Rock vs. Mankind in the finals. | |||
| Match #13 - WWF World Tag Team Championship - Triple Threat Match | |||
| "The New Age Outlaws" (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) Champions |
def. | D'Lo Brown & Mark Henry "The Headbangers" (Mosh & Thrasher) Challengers |
via Pinfall (10:11) |
| Notes: Gunn pinned Mosh. | |||
| Match #14 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship - Tournament Final | |||
| The Rock Challenger |
def. | Mankind Challenger |
via Submission (17:16) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- The Rock had Mankind in the Sharpshooter, and Vince McMahon called for the bell. The Rock won in a finish just like the screwjob from last year. After the match, it was revealed that the Rock joined with McMahon and was the new "Corporate Champion." | |||
