| Match #1 - Steel Cage Match | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Mankind | def. | Triple H w/Chyna |
(16:24) |
| Notes: What a way to kick things off. Mankind went over the cage, but went back up to drop an elbow from the top of the cage. After the match, Dude Love's music played and Foley left doing vintage Dude Love antics. | |||
| NEAR ENTRANCE: New Jersey Governor Christy Todd Whitman came out with the Headbangers and Gorilla Monsoon to talk with Todd Pettengil. They gave her a WWF Championship belt to thank her for getting rid of the prowrestling tax. | |||
| Match #2 | |||
| Goldust w/Marlena |
def. | Brian Pillman | via Pinfall (7:14) |
| Notes: Marlena smacked Pillman with her purse, which was probably loaded, and it knocked him senseless. By losing, Pillman had to wear a dress on the next RAW. | |||
| Match #3 | |||
| "The Legion of Doom" (Hawk & Animal) |
def. | "The Godwinns" (Henry O. & Phineas I. Godwinn) |
via Pinfall (9:50) |
| Notes: Animal pinned Henry after the Spike Piledriver. | |||
| Match #4 - WWF European Championship | |||
| The British Bulldog Champion |
def. | Ken Shamrock Challenger |
via DQ (7:29) |
| Notes: Bulldog took some dog food that was at ringside (if Bulldog lost, he would have to eat it) and threw it on Shamrock. Shamrock snapped, and choked out Bulldog. Many referees and officials tried to break the hold, but Shamrock eventually took them out, too. | |||
| Match #5 | |||
| "Los Boricuas" Savio Vega Miguel Perez Jose Estrada Jesus Castillo |
def. | "Disciples of Apocalypse" Crush Chainz 8-Ball Skull |
via Pinfall (9:05) |
| Notes: Miguel pinned Chainz. The Nation of Domination came down and caused some confusion. | |||
| Match #6 - WWF Intercontinental Championship | |||
| "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Challenger |
def. | Owen Hart Champion |
via Pinfall (16:16) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Owen Hart broke Austin's neck with a piledriver in this battle. It was a weak finish, but I suppose Austin had to win no matter what or else he would have had to kiss Owen's backside. | |||
| Match #7 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship | |||
| Bret "Hitman" Hart Challenger |
def. | The Undertaker Champion |
via Pinfall (28:07) |
| Notes: After he was introduced, Bret had the Canadian National Anthem played. Shawn Michaels was the guest referee. If Michaels showed favoritism to Undertaker, he couldn't wrestle in the US again, just as if Bret didn't win the title, he wouldn't wrestle in the US again. Bret used a chair on 'Taker during the match, and tossed it away. Michaels later saw it lying there, and accused Bret of using it. Bret gave an "FU" and spat on Michaels, and Michaels took a swing at Bret with the chair. Bret ducked, and guess who was behind him? The Undertaker. Bret made the cover, and Michaels had to count the fall or he would be out. | |||
