Match #5 - Royal Rumble Match
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin def. (See Below) (50:24)
Notes: The clock was so screwed up this year, they even acknowledged it on the air. Ramon 2 didn't even come out to music, and the countdown clock wasn't shown until #6. Dumbass Ahmed eliminated himself when Faarooq showed up in the aisle. Mascaras eliminated himself by jumping off the top rope at Pierroth. Ahmed came back and eliminated Faarooq with a 2 x 4. Austin should have been the 26th man eliminated, because Bret Hart threw him over the top rope and out. But the two (only two?) referees assigned to ringside were trying to break up a fight between Mankind and Terry Funk. Austin snuck back into the ring to quickly eliminate Undertaker and Vader, and then Bret Hart, who had just tossed out Diesel 2. Bret went apesh!t and started shoving refs and even Vince around. On a side note, I think this was the first PPV J.R. wore his black hat.

Match #6 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship
Shawn Michaels
w/Jose Lothario
def. Sycho Sid
via Pinfall (13:47)
Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Michaels pulled out all the stops, including hitting Sid with a TV camera. The TV camera didn't finish Sid, but Michaels followed up the camera with Sweet Chin Music. Too bad that chump would later forfeit the title rather than return the favor and drop it to Bret Hart at WrestleMania XIII.

*Entrants were supposed to come down in 1:30 minute intervals. But for storytelling purposes, they sometimes have to run over/short, depending on what's happening in the ring. Individual times are from when the timer hit zero until the Superstar's feet hit the floor. Times are approximate, taken from video footage.
