| Match #8 - Hell In A Cell Match | |||
| The Undertaker | def. | Mankind | via Pinfall (17:41) |
| Notes: One of the most brutal matches in WWF history. Mankind was thrown off the top of the cell and into the spanish announcers' table. Foley wasn't done, since he went back to the top of the cell and was thrown through it to the mat below. After being dropped and chokeslammed onto thumbtacks and Tombstoned, Foley finally had enough and Undertaker pinned him. I think that the footage of Foley flying off the cage will go down in history, right up there with Hogan slamming Andre. | |||
| Match #9 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship - First Blood Match | |||
| Kane Challenger w/Paul Bearer |
def. | "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Champion |
(14:51) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- McMahon watched this match from his owner's box. During the match, the cell was raised and lowered. Eventually, Hebner went down (to no one's surprise) and Mankind attacked Austin. Austin was fighting him off when the Undertaker got involved. 'Taker took a swing at Mankind with a chair, but Mankind ducked and 'Taker hit Austin instead, bustin him open. Hebner recovered and saw the blood, match over and new champion. | |||
