Sunday Night Heat Match
Nunzio def. Akio via Pinfall (3:29)
Notes: Akio connected with a moonsault and went for the cover, but Nunzio kicked out. Akio was questioning the ref about the count when Nunzio rolled him over for the win.

Match #1 - WWE Tag Team Championship
"MNM"
(Johnny Nitro & Joey Mercury)
Champions
w/Melina
def. Hardcore Holly
& Charlie Haas

Challengers
via Pinfall (8:05)
Notes: Mercury pinned Haas. The crowd was really into Hardcore, he did his hard chops and the crowd was loving it. And when he was down, the crowd chanted his name. He made the tag to Haas, but the young wrestler made a few mistakes that led to MNM getting in the Snapshot.

Match #2
Carlito
w/Matt Morgan
def. The Big Show via Pinfall (4:41)
Notes: Dis was cool. Carlito cut a cool promo on the crowd involving Randy Moss. Morgan had tons of interference. The ref was knocked down, and Morgan delivered an F5 to Big Show. Carlito quickly crawled over made the cover. Morgan threw the ref back in, and it was over.

Match #3 - WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Paul London
Champion
def. Chavo Guerrero
Challenger
via Pinfall (10:41)
Notes: London did the 450 right onto Chavo's raised knees. Ha ha ha. But he connected with it, and Chavo was done. Dumbass Cole claimed Chavo was a four-time Cruiserweight Champ. Try five-time, Cole. Another gaffe, the kind that should never happen at a ppv. But I digress. This was a really good match, just like the first. How unusual.

Match #4
Booker T def. Kurt Angle via Pinfall (14:08)
Notes: Earlier in the evening, Kurt Angle had some lingerie and kinky items, including handcuffs, delivered to Sharmell. Booker was pissed. This match I didn't really care for, because I can't get into this whole freaky, perverted sex storyline. Plus, it is Booker T. Anyway, Angle ended up getting handcuffed to the ring rope, allowing Sharmell to bitch slap him around and kick him in his Olympic junk.

Match #5 - WWE United States Championship
Orlando Jordan
Champion
def. John Heidenreich
Challenger
via Pinfall (4:54)
Notes: Anyone else notice that when OJ walks out with the U.S. title around his waist, it looks like the belt is the only thing he's wearing? I thought for a moment that they were trying a "naked Mideon" storyline again. Heidenreich did find a friend in the crowd, a little girl who looked to be enthralled with John. He read a disasterpiece as well, but saying "Whole wheat" instead of "Buckwheat" in referring to OJ. The little girl entered the ring after the match to cheer up John, and the crowd chanted his name.

Match #6
Rey Mysterio def. Eddie Guerrero via DQ (18:29)
Notes: Eddie is so great as a heel. This was another great match, not only for the skills being showcased, but because I love seeing Rey get a good beat down. Chavo ran down to distract the referee, and Eddie went for a steel chair. Rey Rey stopped Eddie, took out Chavo, and then went back and hit Eddie with the 619. Eddie landed right by the steel chair, and when Rey went for the springboard, he landed right into a swinging steel chair. Too sweet. And as a bonus, Eddie waffled Rey even more with the chair after the DQ.

Match #7 - WWE World Heavyweight Championship - I Quit Match
John Cena
Champion
def. John "Bradshaw" Layfield
Challenger
(22:43)
Notes: The colossally-annoying John Cena made his entrance on the back of a flat bed truck, complete with a dj working the turntables to John's equally shitty entrance theme. And that belt is a total disaster. At least Cena was split open and bled out all over the place. Plenty of hard shots to go around in this match, but it seemed that JBL was taking most of them. Through the TV, through the turntables, through the car window, etc. A great match, except for the ending, which seemed a little abrupt. And for the fact that Cena won.
