| Match #1 - WWE United States Championship (SMDN) | |||
| Matt Hardy Challenger |
def. | Montel Vontavious Porter Champion |
via Pinfall (11:24) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- I don't know what to do. It is the end of an era. Pretty good match though. Hardy delivered a Side Effect from the second rope but it didn't finish the job. MVP tried using the ropes for a pinfall, but it was one of those rare times where the ref actually saw it. MVP took control but missed with his big kick. That have Hardy an opening to connect with Twist of Fate and make the pin. Now maybe MVP can go after bigger fish. | |||
| Match #2 - ECW World Heavyweight Championship (SMDN/ECW) | |||
| Kane Champion |
def. | Chavo Guerrero Challenger w/Bam Neely |
via Pinfall (8:49) |
| Notes: Thank God. Chavo flew off the top with the Frog Splash, but his throat landed right into Kane's hand. A thunderous chokeslam put him down for the three. | |||
| Match #3 (INTER) | |||
| The Big Show | def. | The Great Khali | via Pinfall (8:05) |
| Notes: If Big Show would have lost this, his comeback would have been dead. The two behemoths stared at each other for a good minute before doing anything. Show did a decent job making Khali look...I don't want to say good, but passable. Show bodyslammed the (other) big man and broke out of the Khali-Bomb to slay the (other) giant with a chokeslam. | |||
| Match #4 (INTER) | |||
| Shawn Michaels | def. | Dave Batista | via Pinfall (14:59) |
| Notes: Chris Jericho was the guest referee, but didn't involve himself in the action in any way. Kinda slow at first, with Michaels working over Batista's arm. Match picked up a bit later with some of the bigger moves and reversals. HBK got out of a Batista Bomb but hurt his knee. I think he was goldbrickin', because his knee was suddenly strong enough to land Sweet Chin Music to Batista, and it was over. After he went back to favoring the knee. Jericho, who did a great job and was a consumate professional, even raised his hand in victory and helped him to the back. | |||
| Match #5 - 12-Diva Tag Team Match (INTER) | |||
| Beth Phoenix Melina Victoria Layla El Natalya Jillian Hall |
def. | Mickie James Michelle McCool Maria Kanellis Kelly Kelly Cherry Ashley Massaro |
via Pinfall (6:31) |
| Notes: Phoenix pinned Ashley in the best Divas match I've seen in quite a while. Divas in all sorts of flavors for your viewing pleasure here. Michelle seems to be progressing. Mickie and Melina, great as always. Natalya is kinda built like her old man. She knocked Cherry off the apron and later Cherry went around the ring and pulled Natalya down. Things went nuts for a bit there. | |||
| Match #6 - World Heavyweight Championship (SMDN) | |||
| The Undertaker Champion |
def. | Edge Challenger |
via Submission (18:23) |
| Notes: Edge was on 'Taker's shoulders when he ended up tearing off the turnbuckle. Edge slid off and pushed 'Taker into it, but still ended up getting clotheslined. As the referee tried putting the turnbuckle pad back on, Hawkins showed up and hit Undertaker with the title belt. Ryder showed up later but Undertaker pushed Edge into him. Edge rolled through a Last Ride attempt, but 'Taker countered that and locked in his triangle choke to make Edge submit. Before the match, Undertaker told Edge that he was going to hurt him, and he accomplished this by leaving the hold on for quite a bit longer than needed. Edge was carted off in front of a screaming Vickie Guerrero. | |||
| Match #7 - WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match (RAW) | |||
| Triple H Challenger |
def. | Randy Orton Champion John Cena John "Bradshaw" Layfield Challengers |
via Pinfall (28:11) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Cena had Orton in the STFU. This amused JBL, who taunted him. Then Triple H came up from behind and put JBL in the Crossface. When Orton escaped the STFU, he had some choice words for JBL then. But neither was eliminated at that point. JBL later got an FU and then the STFU. He tapped out at 10:29. But before he could release the hold, Orton ran in and kicked Cena in the head and pinned him at 10:41. The rest of the match was ok. Triple H dodged a second RKO attempt and landed the Pedigree, and the Age of Orton was over. | |||
