| Sunday Night Heat Match - Handicap Match (RAW) | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| The Big Show | def. | Justin Credible & Stevie Richards |
via Pinfall (2:09) |
| Notes: | |||
| Match #1 - WWF Cruiserweight Championship (SMDN) | |||
| Tajiri Challenger w/Torrie Wilson |
def. | Billy Kidman Champion |
via Pinfall (9:08) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Tajiri won the title by utilizing some red mist to the eyes of Kidman. Kidman was going for a powerbomb, but the mist was the deciding factor here. | |||
| Match #2 (RAW) | |||
| Scott Hall w/X-Pac |
def. | Bradshaw w/Faarooq |
via Pinfall (5:42) |
| Notes: X-Pac and Hall tried to double-team Bradshaw before the match, but Faarooq came out to even the odds. But X-Pac still caused some confusion and ruckus outside the ring, and Hall used a low blow to get the win. | |||
| Match #3 - WWF Women's Championship (RAW) | |||
| Jazz Champion |
def. | Trish Stratus Challenger |
via Submission (4:27) |
| Notes: Before the match, Molly Holly came out and fought Trish before Jazz even came out. Trish fought valiantly, but was still relatively easy pickings for Jazz. | |||
| Match #4 (RAW) | |||
| Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman |
def. | Jeff Hardy w/Lita |
via TKO (5:32) |
| Notes: The referee stopped the fight after Brock's three powerbombs put Jeff out. Like Hardy ever stood a chance. The Next Big Thing steamrolled right over him. And I was glad to witness it, if only on pay-per-view. | |||
| Match #5 (SMDN) | |||
| Kurt Angle | def. | Edge | via Pinfall (13:24) |
| Notes: My Olympic Hero got the better of Edge by kicking him to the face during an attempted spear. Angle quickly followed with the Angle Slam, and Edge was down for the count. | |||
| IN RING: Chris Jericho went on a rant about not being booked in a match after he headlined WrestleMania last month. Blah, blah, blah. | |||
| Match #6 - WWF Intercontinental Championship (RAW) | |||
| Eddie Guerrero Challenger |
def. | Rob Van Dam Champion |
via Pinfall (11:43) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Yes!!!!!!!! Eddie comes back and shows RVD how the frog splash is really done. Latino Heat is again running wild. | |||
| Match #7 (RAW) | |||
| The Undertaker | def. | "Stone Cold" Steve Austin | via Pinfall (26:59) |
| Notes: Ric Flair was the guest referee, and counted the pinfall even though Austin's foot was on the rope. Hall and X-Pac came down to ringside, but did not get involved. Flair himself botched this one. His attempts to kiss Austin's butt have been for nothing! | |||
| Match #8 - WWF World Tag Team Championship (SMDN) | |||
| Billy Gunn & Chuck Palumbo Champions w/Rico |
def. | Al Snow & Maven Challengers |
via Pinfall (6:01) |
| Notes: Billy pinned Maven. Of course Billy and Chuck won. Like Maven would win the Tag Team Championship. He may have won the meaningless Hardcore Title last month, but he will not win anything higher. | |||
| Match #9 - WWF World Heavyweight Championship (SMDN) | |||
| "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan Challenger |
def. | Triple H Champion |
via Pinfall (22:04) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Hogan was about to win, but Chris Jericho involved himself to try and make Hogan lose. Triple H dispatched with him, and was about to win himself when the Undertaker did a run in. He took out Triple H with a chair, but Hogan hulked up and took out 'Taker. Hogan still had enough left to drop the leg onto Hunter and win his sixth WWF World Heavyweight Championship. | |||
