|---|---|---|---|
| Billy Kidman & Akio |
def. | Chavo Guerrero & Paul London |
via Pinfall (5:44) |
| Notes: Akio pinned Chavo after a spinning heel kick. Kidman tossed London to the outside, Chavo tossed Kidman right after him, and Akio saw his opening. | |||
| Match #1 - WWE Tag Team Championship | |||
| Rob Van Dam & Rey Mysterio Champions |
def. | Rene Dupree & Kenzo Suzuki Challengers w/Hiroko, Fifi |
via Pinfall (17:12) |
| Notes: Hiroko distracted the referee and allowed a double team to go down. Torrie Wilson didn't like that one bit and made an appearance just to chase off Hiroko. Rey Rey was able to do a double 6-1-9, and then RVD landed the Frog Splash on Rene. Rey took out Kenzo while RVD made the cover. | |||
| Match #2 | |||
| Kurt Angle | def. | Santa Claus | via Submission (0:27) |
| Notes: Had some time to kill, so why not send out Kurt for a special "Kurt Angle Invitational"? In this edition, Kurt called out Santa Claus. Quite a funny bit, and only someone of Kurt's talents could pull this off. | |||
| Match #3 - Dixie Dogfight | |||
| Daniel Puder | def. | Mike Mizanin | via Applause |
| Notes: This was the final contest of the "$1,000,000 Tough Enough." Big deal. It was three, one-minute rounds of boxing. Thomas Mischou, Georgia Boxing Commissioner, supervised the event, and the referee was George Chip. Al Snow had to come out and join commentary for this. After the rounds Al asked the crowd who they thought won, and it was Puder. Pretty crappy segment. | |||
| Match #4 | |||
| "The Basham Brothers" (Doug & Danny Basham) |
def. | Hardcore Holly & Charlie Haas |
via Pinfall (6:51) |
| Notes: Doug (I think) pinned Hardcore. When Charlie got knocked off the apron, Dawn Marie came to his aid. Miss Jackie didn't like that, and she ran down to get in Dawn's face. Charlie was stuck in the middle, and the ruckus distracted Hardcore. The Bashams switched places and rolled up Hardcore. | |||
| Match #5 - WWE United States Championship - Street Fight | |||
| John Cena Champion |
def. | Jesus Challenger w/Carlito Caribbean Cool |
via Pinfall (7:54) |
| Notes: Cena came out with a disgusting new version of the U.S. belt. It was a gaudy turntable with diamonds and crap on it. And yes, the front of the title spun around. Ugh. Not much point to this match. Jesus was able to get in about 2 offensive moves, and other than that, it was just an ass kicking. Cena took back his steel chain and laid out Carlito to boot. He then spun his way back to the locker room. | |||
| Match #6 | |||
| Dawn Marie | def. | Miss Jackie | via Pinfall (1:44) |
| Notes: Charlie Haas was the guest referee, and he came out with Jackie. Kind of a sloppy match, and Jackie was pissed that Charlie counted her down. Charlie got on the mic and admitted to Jackie that he and Dawn were having an affair, and that their engagement was off. He then took the engagement ring and acted as if he was going to ask Dawn to marry him, but called her a slut and took off. Charlie wanted nothing to do with either of these women. | |||
| Match #7 - Handicap Match | |||
| The Big Show | def. | Kurt Angle Luther Reigns Mark Jindrak |
via Pinfall (9:54) |
| Notes: Big Show took on all three and won. The crowd was behind Show, even starting a chant at one point to try and fire up the big guy when things weren't going his way. Jindrak was tossed to the outside, and then Kurt picked up the steel steps. Big Show was in the ring and kicked through the ropes to knock the steps back into Kurt's face. He then connected with an F5 on Luther and made the pin. Yes, an F5. | |||
| Match #8 - WWE Cruiserweight Championship | |||
| Sho Funaki Challenger |
def. | Spike Dudley Champion |
via Pinfall (9:30) |
| Notes: -TITLE CHANGE- Funaki interviewed himself before the match. Kind of funny. Not all that great of a match, but there were a few good maneuvers. Funaki countered the Dudley Dog and then both men rolled around a few times and Funaki ended up with a pin. He was jacked and celebrated with both announce teams. | |||
| Match #9 - WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Fatal Four-Way Match | |||
| John "Bradshaw" Layfield Champion |
def. | The Undertaker Eddie Guerrero Booker T Challengers |
via Pinfall (25:36) |
| Notes: JBL came out first and watched with disbelief as the odds were repeatedly stacked against him as each of his opponents appeared. Best match of the night. The faces ganged up on JBL at first, but eventually the nice guy gloves came off and things got dirty. JBL put Booker through the announce table, but then 'Taker put JBL through the Spanish table. Eddie was goldbricking it in the ring, and 'Taker thought Eddie was the most vulnerable. He countered the Last Ride and connected with two Frog Splashes, but 'Taker kicked out. Eddie then took the ladder and connected with a splash from the ladder. He went for the cover but JBL had recovered and pulled Hebner out of the ring. Eddie gave JBL the Three Amigos, but it was Booker that broke up the pin this time. 'Taker broke up Booker's pin of JBL. 'Taker chokeslammed everyone when Heidenreich returned and assaulted the Undertaker, effectively eliminating him from the match. It was during this confusion that JBL connected with the Clothesline From Hell and pinned Booker T. If JBL can now hold the belt until December 20th, he will be the longest reigning champion since Shawn Michaels' 231-day reign in 1996. | |||
