Was considered a world title until the WWWF rejoined the NWA in 1971, when it was "demoted" to being a regional title. When the WWF left the NWA for good in 1983, it went back to being a world championship and the prestige of the title has only increased since.

United StatesWWE United States Championship (1975-2001; 2003 - )
Formerly the NWA United States Championship out of the Mid-Atlantic Region, and then the WCW United States Championship, this title was absorbed into the WWF Intercontinental Championship in 2001 but was later reinstated to be SmackDown's midcard championship. Has switched brands multiple times since.
WWE Tag TeamWWE Tag Team Championship (2002 - )
When the World Tag Team champions jumped ship from SmackDown to Raw on 29-Jul-2002, this title was created on 03-Oct-2002 to replace them. A tournament was started that night and concluded at a pay-per-view that year. Eventually, the holders of the title also won the World Tag Team Championship. The titles were defended and changed hands together, until the World Tag Team Championship was retired in late 2010.
DivasWWE Divas Championship (2008 - )
Created in 2008 to be a women's title for SmackDown, as the Women's Championship was on RAW. Its creation was announced on the 06-Jun-2008 episode of SmackDown (taped 03-Jun-2008). Fans got their first look at the belt on the 04-Jul-2008 episode (taped 01-Jul-2008). Eventually became the only title for women in 2010 when it was unified with the Women's Championship and the champion can appear on both RAW and SmackDown.
